The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) allows Waverley Borough Council to raise funds, from some forms of new development, to help fund the infrastructure needed to mitigate the impacts of new development.
In the case of a Parish that has a Neighbourhood Plan, such as Ewhurst, 25% of funds collected are passed to the Parish in question, to be spent in the community where development took place.
Applications can be made to the Parish Council with a view to securing money from the CIL funds towards your project as long as it is for the provision, improvement, replacement, operation, maintenance of infrastructure or anything else that is concerned with addressing the demands that development places on Ewhurst and Ellens Green. The chance of your application being successful is increased if you are able match the funding you are requesting from your own funds or from other sources. Please ensure you read the guidance notes here prior to making the application. The Application form can be found here and must be completed and emailed to: clerk@ewhurstellensgreen-pc.gov.uk.
If you wish to provide supporting evidence that is not electronic, please send your application form to:
The Parish Clerk, Ewhurst Parish Council, Rumbeams Cottage, Ewhurst Green, GU6 7RR.
